The public admission program for the first 100 Resident vehicles inside THR Registry.
There are two kinds of automotive communities: the ones that post cars, and the ones that build culture.
Open Residency is our way of doing the second one.
This is the first public admission program inside THR Registry, built to onboard the first 100 verified Resident vehicles in the THR Ecosystem.
It is part selection, part ritual, part competition - and it ends with one winner.
If you own a vehicle that belongs in the culture, this is your entry point.

What is THR Registry?
THR Registry (Transnational Heritage Recognition Registry) is a structured database that records verified vehicle identity and provenance signals, then issues credentials that can be recognized across events and partners.
It’s how we connect drivers, vehicles, and events through a shared system of recognition.
The output is simple:
You register once
You receive a THR ID
Your car becomes part of a verified archive
You gain access to a curated network of event listings and future programs
One ID. Every event.

What is "Open Residency"?
Open Residency is a time-limited admission campaign.
We will nominate 300 vehicles that we believe represent the culture, then invite them to apply for a THR ID using a referral code.
The first 100 nominees who complete registration will be officially admitted as Residents, and will enter the duels.
This is Season 1. The beginning.

The Ladder (how the campaign works)
Phase 1: Nomination (300 vehicles)
We publish nominations daily on Instagram - curated picks from across Europe and the Middle East.
Each nomination includes:
the vehicles
the short reason it was nominated
the instruction to apply with the campaign code
You can also submit nominations (check the pinned post on @thr.registry instagram page for the full process).
Phase 2: Admission (First 100)
The first 100 nominees who register for THR ID with the code FIRST100 become Admitted Residents inside THR Registry.
We've added a visual counter to be able to check the status on our admissions. When the counter states Admitted: 100/100, no additional submissions are accepted.
Phase 3: Duels (100 -> 50 -> 1)
Once 100 are admitted, the duels begin.

What a Resident receives
The winner receives the Open Residency - Season 1 grand prize: The Limited Edition S.T. Dupont Defi Millennium 24h Le Mans Red and Gold Ballpoint Pen, approx. $700 value.
Every admitted participant receives Resident status that includes:
THR ID (your registry identity)
Resident Passport (digital)
Official badge and THR Registry Entry
Eligibility for future drops, event access, upgrades
visibility inside the THR ecosystem as early admitted

How to participate
Option A: Get nominated
Watch the nominations. If you are nominated, you’ll receive the instruction to apply.
Option B: Submit a nomination
If you know a vehicle that should be admitted:

2 photos

one line why it belongs
If accepted, we publish it.
Option C: Apply when nominated
When your nomination goes live:
register for THR ID
use code FIRST100
if the counter is still open, you get admitted
Rules (simple and strict)
Voting happens only on @thr.registry IG Story polls
Any attempt to use bots or fake voting = disqualification and permanent ban
Only admitted vehicles enter duels
We reserve the right to remove any entry that violates the spirit of the program
This program is curated - nomination does not guarantee admission

Why we’re doing it (the real reason)
Because automotive culture has no universal identity layer.
Events are fragmented. Communities are scattered. Recognition is subjective. And as the world becomes more private, more premium, more invitation-based - identity becomes the ticket.
Open Residency is our first move to build that infrastructure publicly, with community participation.
This isn’t a giveaway. It’s an admission ceremony.
